Renowned for designing unique, custom fabricated stainless steel and aluminium products for the Marine and Architectural industries, Designer Stainless currently manufactures in Caboolture, centrally located between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

For over 30 years Paul Williams of Designer Stainless has specialised in custom fabricating stainless steel products for numerous industries. Paul started his sheet metal apprenticeship in 1986 where he developed skill sets from experienced tradesman at Capilano Engineering fabricating food processing equipment. This lead him to be involved with McConnell Industries fabricating stainless and steel products for several companies, the boating industry, hand railing and balustrades, umbrella and shade structures for many iconic locations including the Sydney Opera House and Fox Studios also components for Mack Trucks Australia. Fabricating caravan chassis and wall frames in partnership with The Haines Group along with stainless steel componentry for their boat brands.

Paul found a demand within the industry for specialised stainless steel fabricators and customised products, so in March 2007 Designer Stainless Steel Pty Ltd was actualised. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength due to Paul's wealth of knowledge and his dedication to perfection. Paul and his team are true Australian craftsmen providing customers with unique, creative, state of the art stainless steel products that can be both functional and decorative. In 2025, Paul moved Designer Stainless to their new operating facility at Caboolture, ideally located between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.

Paul continues to actively design and manufacturer his products alongside his team to ensure his high standard of craftsmanship remains within each stainless piece that leaves the factory.
