For over 30 years Paul Williams, the managing director of Designer Stainless Steel has specialised in custom fabricating stainless steel products for numerous industries. Paul started his sheet metal apprenticeship in 1986 where he developed stainless steel products for Capilano Engineering. This lead him to be involved in fabricating stainless products for several companies, including food processing equipment, hand railing and balustrade, umbrella frames around the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne’s Fox Studios, and components for Mack Trucks.

Paul found a demand within the industry for specialised stainless steel fabricators and customised products, so in March 2007 Designer Stainless Steel was actualised. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength due to Paul's wealth of knowledge and his dedication to perfection. Paul and his team are true Australian craftsmen providing customers with unique, creative, state of the art stainless steel products that can be both functional and decorative. In 2016, Paul moved Designer Stainless Steel to his new operating facility at Arundel in Queensland's stunning Gold Coast. This move has positioned Paul and his team of specialised steel fabricators into a key area of growth to better position Designer Stainless Steel for future operations.

Paul continues to actively design and manufacturer his products alongside his team to ensure his high standard of craftsmanship remains within each stainless piece that leaves the factory.
